ROCKWELL — The funeral will be Wednesday for Norma Peeler Boger, 66, Rockwell, who died Sunday (Oct. 21, 2001) at Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte, after several years of declining health.
Born April 13, 1935, in Rowan County, Mrs. Boger was a daughter of the late Murphy and Mary Catherine Peeler. She was a weaver at Fieldcrest Cannon Mills Plant 1, Kannapolis, and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include husband Thomas Boger, whom she married July 3, 1953; daughter Pamela B. Baker, Rockwell; brother Bill Peeler, Salisbury; and two grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Immanuel Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Bruce Sheeks. Burial, Brookhill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation: 6-8 tonight, Powles Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home.
Memorials: Immanuel Lutheran Church, Memorial Fund.
