Pauline L. Bowers
Pauline L. Bowers, 96 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.
Mrs. Bowers was born April 28, 1920 in Stanly County to the late Ephraim Levi Lambert and the late Evansy Burris Lambert. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin T. Bowers; sisters, Elsie L. Hatley and J. V. Bowers; a brother, Buford Lambert, and a grandson, Brian Bowers.
She was a devoted wife and mother and worked in the family business of Bowers Hatchery and Bowers Farms, Inc. She was a member of Pine Grove Methodist Church.
A private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday.
Survivors include daughter, Patricia Bowers Lewis and husband Chester; son, Donald M. Bowers and wife Melody both of Albemarle; grandchildren, April (Shawn) Maynard, Donna L. (Mickey) Mooney, and Tommy (Denise) Lewis; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Cody and Aiden Maynard, Jordan and Landon Mooney, Josh Lewis and Jessica Lewis Davis; and great great granddaughter, Jovie Davis.
Memorials may be made to Pine Grove United Methodist Church or Hospice of Stanly County and the Uwharrie.
