Bonnie Harwood, 51, of Gold Hill, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020, at her residence.
She was born September 22, 1968, in Salisbury, to Clara Goodman Trexler and the late Johnny Andrew Trexler. Bonnie was a 1986 graduate of East Rowan High School and was a lifelong member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. She was employed by Matthews Greenhouses and managed Lentz's General Store. She loved flowers, frogs, and clogging, but most especially her four grandchildren.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her mother, Clara Trexler; daughter, Brittany Harwood (Jonathan) of Gold Hill; son, Hunter Harwood of Gold Hill; sister, Connie Trexler Sells of Gold Hill; and her grandchildren, Ryleigh, Reagan, Bryson, Chase.
In accordance with Governor Cooper's mandate and an effort to limit crowd size, services will be private.
Interment will be in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Powles Staton Funeral Home of Rockwell is assisting the family.
