Funeral is 3 p.m. Thursday, June 5, at Salem United Methodist Church, Albemarle, with Dr. Boyd Holliday officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Harwood, a retired farmer, was born in Stanly County, NC. Survivors include his wife, Dovie Misenheimer Harwood of the home; daughter, Mrs. Genora Morris of Albemarle, NC; and three grandchildren.
