SALISBURY - Tony Wayne King, 47 of Salisbury passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012.
Mr. King was born Jan. 3, 1965 in Rowan County, son of the late Jerry Wayne King and Barbara Ann Wagner King.
Mr. King attended East Rowan High School and was a graduate of Rowan Cabarrus Community College. He worked at Fieldcrest Cannon as a fixer from 1983 until it closed. He also worked for West Wind Cycles of Salisbury. He was a member of the Rockwell Amvets. Mr. King enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and he was an avid outdoors man. He also enjoyed show cars and trucks.
Mr. King is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Denise King and her boyfriend Jeremy Hartsell; and grandchildren, Eli Hartsell and Gavin Hartsell.
Service: 11 a.m. Monday Aug. 13, 2012 at the Powles Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Alan Hess. Burial will follow at Brookhill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at Powles Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 13 from 10-11 a.m.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to help cover funeral expenses, Powles Funeral Home.
