Arthur Sylvester Frick, age 60, loving Husband, Father and Grandpa of Richfield NC passed away Tuesday September 18, 2012 in his home surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. His funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday at Paul’s Crossing Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Walters and Rev. Jessie Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Stanly Funeral Home.
Born June 7, 1952 in Stanly County, he was the son of the late James Sylvester Frick and Jahalia Frick of Richfield. He was an employee of Schult Homes for 42 years and was a member of Paul’s Crossing Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. He loved hunting, woodworking, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was married to Dianne Smith Frick of the home. Other survivors include son Brandon Frick and wife Stacy of New London, daughters Marilyn Thompson and husband Joel of Albemarle and Beverly Harkey and husband Sam of Richfield, brothers Danny Frick and wife Georgia of Mt. Airy and Lowell Frick and wife Cathy of Richfield, grandchildren Megan Thompson, Tristan Thompson, Dakota Thompson, Rachel Frick, Leah Frick, Cobly Kletter and Hunter Harkey. A brother Stanley preceded him in death.
The family requests memorial be made to the Gideons International.
