Donna Kluttz Basinger
SALISBURY - Mrs. Donna Kluttz Basinger, 96, of Salisbury, passed away on Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at Genesis Healthcare.
Mrs. Basinger was born on Oct. 20, 1913, in Rowan County, a daughter of the late John Lewis Kluttz and Carrie Holshouser Kluttz. She was employed at Cannon Mills for 49 years as a spinner at Plants 1, 11 and the Swink Plant. Mrs. Basinger was a life-member of Shiloh Reformed Church.
In a addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Alexander Basinger, on May 4, 2006.
Mrs. Basinger is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Service: The Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Powles Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Spencer Swain, pastor of Grace Reformed Church.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Powles Funeral Home.
Memorials: May be made to Shiloh Reformed Church, P.O. Box 308, Faith, NC 28041.
