Lee Alexander Frick

Lee Alexander Frick, 78, of East Spencer, NC passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the NC Veterans Home of Salisbury.

Born in Cabarrus County on April 27, 1937, he was the son of the late Lewis Frick and Beulah Irene Honeycutt Frick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Junior Frick and sister Ethel Mae Trexler.

Lee was in the US Army Air Corps during the Korean War. He also served as Rowan County Sheriff Deputy Detective for eight years and in law enforcement for thirty years.

Lee loved to go hunting and fishing. He was also an active member of the Spencer Masonic Lodge #543.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Nell Windbery Frick, daughter Vickie (Randy) Frick Lomax of Spencer; brother James Lewis Frick of Seven Points, Texas and his grandchild Brandon Charles Lomax.

He will be dearly missed by his beloved family members and friends.

Visitation: 11:30 – 12:30, Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Haven Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 207 West Harrison Street, Salisbury, NC 28144.

Services: 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the Salisbury National Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Vickrey officiating.

Graveside rites will be conducted by the Lyerly Volunteer Honor Guard and the Spencer Masonic Lodge.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the National Kidney Foundation.
