E. SPENCER - Lewis Frick, 96, of E. Spencer, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, at his residence after a two year period of declining health and seriously ill for two weeks.
Mr. Frick was born on May 6, 1909, in Cabarrus Co. to the late Evann Troutman Frick and the late Charlie Alexander Frick. He was educated in the Cabarrus Co. schools and employed with Cannon Mills for 19 years and later was self employed. Mr. Frick was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Salisbury.
He was preceded in death by his wife Beulah Irene Honeycutt Frick, who died Dec. 18, 1996; and son Jerry Junior Frick.
Survivors include his sons Lee Alexander Frick and wife Nell of E. Spencer and James Lewis Frick of Sevenpoints, Tex.; a daughter Ethel Mae Frick Trexler of Salisbury; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Service: 1 p.m. Monday, Lyerly Funeral Home, James C. Lyerly Chapel conducted by Mr. Larry Daniel.
Burial: Rowan Memorial Park.
Visitation: 7-9 p.m. tonight Lyerly Funeral Home.
