Earnest Ray Frick, affectionately known as “Pa”, 72, passed away at his home on Friday, June 9th, 2023. His visitation will be Monday, June 12th. 2023 from 2-3:30PM at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle. Funeral Services will be at 4Pm Monday in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel officiated by Rev. Tony Hancox. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Frick is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy Frick of the home. Mr. Frick is also lovingly remembered by his daughter, Lindsey Crisco (Landon) of Albemarle, one brother, Garry Frick and grandchildren: Jake and Addy. He is also survived by a special family member, Debbie Whitley.
Mr. Frick was born in Stanly County, North Carolina on April 19th, 1951, to the late Coy Frick and Rachel Frick. He is preceded in death by two brothers: Max Frick and Larry Frick. Mr. Frick, after retiring from a 17-year career at Pfeiffer College, spent his time doing the things he loved most, such as fishing, gardening, going to auctions and yard sales. Mr. Frick’s grandchildren were the light of his eye, and he never met a stranger.
