Rachel Austin Frick
Rachel Louise Austin Frick, 77, of 16384 Old Aquadale Road, Albemarle, died at 2:27 a.m. Sunday, July 6, 2008, in CMC-Main. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m.. Wednesday with a 30-minute state in Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she was a charter member. The Rev. Lowell Brown will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Born July 10, 1930, in Stanly County, she was a daughter of the late Rufus Sylvester Austin and Ranner Isabelle Hatley Austin and was an inspector for Collins and Aikman. Her husband, Coy Adam Frick, and a son, Max Junior Frick, preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Earnest Frick and wife, Nancy, Larry L. Frick and wife, Cheryl, and Garry Wayne Frick and wife, Ann, all of Albemarle; grandchildren, Amanda Wilson, Brian Frick, Lindsey Frick, Misty Huneycutt and Michelle Frick; a brother, J.B. Austin of Albemarle; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm. Tuesday at Hartsell Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of a son, Earnest Frick, 20893 Old Aquadale Road, Albemarle.
Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 32283 Bethlehem Church Rd., Norwood, NC 28128.Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Frick family.
