CONCORD - Nan Hatley Twitty, 46, of 1078 Iveywood Place, Concord, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, at CMC-Main. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Leon Hawk officiating. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park, Concord.
Mrs. Twitty was born March 17, 1962, in Mecklenburg County. She had been employed as an office manager.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeff Hatley; and grandparents, Bud and Lois Little and Cletus and Lora V. Hatley.
Survivors include her husband, Eric James Twitty of Concord; daughters, Alaina Furr Townley of Midland, Taylor Twitty and Jordan Twitty, both of the home; father, C.P. Hatley of Concord; mother, Betty Jo (Little) Hatley of Concord; sisters, Cindy Hatley of Concord, Jan Mitchell, Nan's twin, of Ohio and Lora Helms of Charlotte.
The family will meet at her home at 1078 Iveywood Place, Concord. Memorials may be made to Sun Trust Bank, Twitty Education Fund, 276 Concord Parkway S., Concord, NC 28027. Arrangements by Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland.
