Betty Jo Little Hatley
CONCORD - Betty Jo Little Hatley, 76, of 4800 Fairbluff Road, Concord, passed away on July 31, 2010, at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland from 6 to 8 p.m. A private graveside service will be at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, on Tuesday Aug. 3, 2010, with the Rev Leon Hawks officiating.
Betty Jo was born in Midland on April 17, 1934, to H. B. "Bud" Little and Lois Morgan Little. She graduated from Bethel High School in 1952, and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, H. B. "Bud" Little and Lois Morgan Little; sister, Margaret Little Efird; son, Jeff Hatley; daughter, Nan Hatley Twitty; and great-grandson, Jeffery Steven Hooks Jr.
She is survived by her husband, C. P. Hatley, of Concord; son, Christopher Hatley, of Concord; daughter, Cindy Hatley, of Concord; daughter, Jan Mitchell, of Concord; daughter, Lora Helms and husband, Scott, of Charlotte; son-in-law, Eric Twitty, of Concord; 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a special pet poodle, Precious.
