Sue Carol Honeycutt

Sue Carol Honeycutt, 69, of Gold Hill passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. She was born on February 3, 1947 in Rowan County a daughter of the late Harold McNeary Honeycutt and Elizabeth Gordon Honeycutt.

Ms. Honeycutt was educated in the Rowan County Schools and was a bus driver for the Rowan Salisbury School System. She was a member of West Park Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing music on her keyboard and her family was her life.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by sons, Keith Allen Rattz and Reggie Earl Rattz, Jr.; brothers, Pete Honeycutt and Myron Honeycutt; and sisters, Frances Lambert, Dallas Atkinson, Dolly Smith and Shirley Smith.

Survivors include sons, Gaylor Rattz and wife Tera of Gold Hill; Michael Shawn Rattz and wife Cheri of Salisbury; daughters, Carol Suzette Rattz Thompson of Salisbury, and Beth Shipton and husband Bruce of Gold Hill; brothers, Harold Honeycutt, David "Rod" Honeycutt, Jimmy Honeycutt, Eddie Honeycutt and Jeffery Honeycutt; sister, Angie Shaver; 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation; The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 PM Wednesday at West Park Baptist Church.

Services: Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday at West Park Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Charles Carver, pastor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorials my be made to West Park Baptist Church, 715 West park Drive, Rockwell, NC 28138.
