Hugh William Bost, Sr.
ROCKWELL -- Mr. Bost, 84, died May 11, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Bost was born January 7, 1920 in Rowan County, son of the late Mr. C. A. and Pearl Fisher Bost. He was Co-Founder of Rockwell Radio and Electric, and was employed there from November 26, 1956 until 2001.
Mr. Bost was a life member of the Ursinus United Church of Christ in Rockwell, NC, a member of the Keller Memorial Masonic Lodge #657, the Rowan County Shrine Club, and the Oasis Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rena Hammill Bost whom he married June 29, 1946; son, Hugh William Bost, Jr. of Rockwell, NC; one daughter, Mrs. Jody Bost Mease of Mooresville, NC; brother, Mr. Spencer Bost of Rockwell, NC; two sisters, Mrs. Jackie B. Taylor of Rockwell, NC and Mrs. Marlene Braun of Chesapeake, VA; and two grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Friday at the Ursinus United Church of Christ, conducted by the Reverend Guy Fisher, Former Pastor, with burial in the Brookhill Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at the Powles Funeral Home, Thursday from 6:30-8:00 PM.
