Janet Fisher Kepley

Mrs. Janet Jane Fisher Kepley, 83 of Salisbury passed away on December 5, 2015 at Novant Rowan Medical Center. Mrs. Kepley was born on May 27, 1932 in Rowan County, daughter of the late Homer Fisher and Mildred Kenerley Fisher.

Mrs. Kepley was a graduate of Granite Quarry High School and was the owner and operator of B & K Roller Rink with her husband Ray.

She was a member of Grace Bible Church and she enjoyed cooking. She loved her children and and grand children.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers Robert Fisher and Jim Fisher, a sister Pat Peeler, and grandson Sawyer Kepley.

Mrs. Kepley is survived by her husband, Albert "Ray" Kepley whom she married on October 16, 1952, sons, Dennis Kepley, Dean Kepley and wife Cindy, Terry Kepley and wife Susan, Chuck Kepley and wife Kathy, daughters, LuAnn Kepley Mauney and husband Ritchie.

She is also survived by grandchildren, Chasty, Gabe, Neina, Averi, Abby, Paden, Macklyn, Kane, Chandler, Adam, Hunter, Griffin, Emma, and Brittany, 9 great grandchildren, and her sister Peggy Dillard and her husband Gene of Winston-Salem.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 9th from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Daysprings Community Church, 490 Lentz Road, China Grove, NC.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 9th at 12:00 PM at Daysprings Community Church conducted by Rev. Gerry Steedley. Burial will follow at The U.S. National Cemetery in Salisbury.

In memory of Janet, donations may be made to The Christmas Happiness Fund care of The Salisbury Post.

The family would like to give special thanks to Janet's Caregivers, Rachel, Linda, Paige and Shelia for their loving care and support.
