Albert Ray Shaver
Albert Ray Shaver, 80, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023 at his residence.
He was born January 1, 1943 in Rowan County to the late Frank Ramsey Shaver and Daisy Ruth Ann Casper Shaver. Albert attended Morgan School, Rockwell High School, and was a 1963 Graduate of East Rowan High School. He worked at Flowers Bakery Co. for 24 years in the shipping room and seven in the roll department before retiring after 33 years. Albert was a member of Old Country Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lee Shaver.
Albert is survived by his son, Johnny Mack Ray Shaver and Kimberly; two daughters, Barbara Ann Cline and fiance, Terry Collins of Leland, NC and Daisy Shaver Cline and Billy of Salisbury, NC; sister, Mary Rose Carter of Salisbury, NC; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Nancy and Teresa and their families and step-son, Danny Ray Allen and his family.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in the Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC, with Rev. Mark Hardin officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Brookhill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
