Mary Jean Shaver, 82, of Salisbury passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Accordius Health of Salisbury.
Born on December 6, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Betty Rose Shelton and Leroy Ellis.
Mary worked as a textile factory worker and was a member of Old Country Baptist Church in Faith, NC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Clyde Arnold, Jr. and late husband, Herbert Collins.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Albert Shaver, whom she married in 2014; stepson, Johnny Shaver; daughters, Teresa Hosman and Nancy Kimura; stepdaughters, Daisey Kline and Barbara Kline; brother, Sammy Vaughn; sister, JoAnn Rose; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 1:00-2:00 PM Friday, August 6, 2021 at Rowan Memorial Park Chapel in the Pines.
Service: 2:00 PM Friday, August 6, 2021 at Rowan Memorial Park Chapel in the Pines with the Rev. Jim Vickrey officiating. Burial will follow in Rowan Memorial Park Cemetery.
