SALISBURY - Mary Jane Walton Kirk, of Salisbury, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
Born in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Walton and Lillie Holder Walton. She was a graduate of East Spencer High School. Mrs. Kirk was manager of the Hospitality Shop at Rowan Memorial Hospital (now Rowan Regional Medical Center). She was a member of Trading Ford Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were three sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Claude Kirk, whom she married Oct. 8, 1946; son Ron Kirk (Susan) of Mocksville; and three granddaughters, Lauren Kirk, Brettly Kirk and Madison Kirk.
Service and Visitation: A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17 at Trading Ford Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Mike Motley officiating. The family will speak to friends following the graveside service.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to Trading Ford Baptist Church, Building Fund.

SALISBURY - Mary Jane Walton Kirk, of Salisbury, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
