Christine Morgan Miller

Christine Morgan Miller, 78, of Rockwell, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at her home.

She was born May 1, 1939 in Rowan County, NC to the late Clyde Morgan and Veda Morgan Parks. She attended Rockwell High School, and worked as a Supervisor for the Meadows of Rockwell before retiring.

In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Stone Edwin "Ed" Miller; son, Jimmy Edwin Miller; sisters, Vickie Teague and Martha Ann Morgan.

Christine is survived by two Sons, Jeff Miller and Terry Miller both of Rockwell, NC; brother, Harold Morgan and wife Doris of Rockwell, NC; two sisters, Maribeth Baker and husband Charles of Salisbury, NC, and Yvonne Cozart and husband Dennis of Sun Lakes, AZ; two grandsons, David Michael Miller and Seth Thomas Miller of Rockwell; granddaughter, Amanda Miller Shrewsbury and husband Caleb; and great-grandson, Milo Jackson Shrewsbury all of Salisbury.

The family will greet friends and relatives on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, 9:30 am - 10:30 am at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC.

The graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at the Salisbury National Cemetery with Rev. Harold Jordan, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Christine may be made to Rowan Hospice and Palliative Care.

Powles Staton Funeral Home of Rockwell, honored provider of Veterans Funeral Care, is assisting the Miller family.
