GOLD HILL - Tamara Michele Efird, 27, of Gold Hill, passed away Friday, December 28, 2007.
Tamara was born November 10, 1980, in Rowan County, a daughter of Mrs. Shelia Barringer Efird of Gold Hill and the late Phillip Larry Efird. She was a 1999 graduate of East Rowan High School and was employed by Bojangles of Richfield as manager. Tamara was a member of St. James Lutheran Church of Rockwell.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Gavin Wayne Moose, on July 26, 2002; and her paternal grandparents, Everette and Kathryn Efird.
In addition to her mother, survivors include a son, Kenneth Gauge Moose, and a daughter, Haylee Michele Moose, both of the home; companion, Joel Bennett of the home; sister Diedre Maines and husband Michael; nieces Leslie May and Mikaela Maines; maternal grandparents Clyde and June Barringer of Rockwell; great-grandmother Pearl Barringer; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Service: The funeral service will be Monday, December 31, at 2 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church with the Rev. Craig Sigmon, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Brookhill Memorial Gardens, Rockwell.
Visitation: The visitation will be Sunday, December 30, at Powles Funeral Home from 4-6 p.m.
