Judy Eller Stiller Hoffner

Judy Eller Stiller Hoffner, age 79, died on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at her home in Gold Hill, NC.

She was born to the late Travis & Viola Eller. She worked at Rowan Industries, Klopman Mills, Collins & Aikman, Morgan School, and retired from APA Marketing. Judy was a 1960 graduate from East Rowan High School and enjoyed serving as a President of class reunions for a while. Judy enjoyed attending Immanuel Lutheran Church for the last few years, which was her childhood church.

Judy loved her sons Stan Stiller and his wife Priscilla from Arizona and Mark Stiller and his wife Cristy from Gold Hill, her grand-children Justin and Kristin Stiller from Arizona and Texas, respectively, and step-daughter Amy Shaver and husband Tim from Salisbury. She enjoyed reading, playing the piano, singing, and looked forward to traveling often with her family, friends and church group.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Hoffner; her parents, Travis and Viola Eller; her siblings, Travis Eller Jr., Lucille Cook, Betty Tutherow, and Doris Jorden.

Surviving siblings are Johnny Eller from Rockwell and Elva Rae Huneycutt from Faith; nieces: Linda Hess (John) from Richfield, Debbie Cole from Wilmington, Emily Cook (Zeb) from Charlotte, Amie Baudoin from Richfield, and Beverly Ledford from Hickory; nephews: Calvin Eller and Jeff Eller from Rockwell and Todd Morgan from Faith.

The family will greet friends and relatives on Thursday, June 17th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home in Rockwell.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 18th at 2:00 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. Bruce Sheeks, Pastor.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2070 Emanuel Church Road, Rockwell, NC.
