Howard "Mark" Carter, 54 of Charlotte, NC passed away on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 at his residence. Mark was born Oct. 18, 1959 in Mecklenburg County, the son of the late, William Howard Carter and Connie Irene Wagoner Carter.
Mark was educated in the Mecklenburg County Schools and North Mecklenburg High School, he attended Mountain Island Baptist Church and North Dale Baptist Church. He had worked for Carolina Alloy and Stainless for 26 years. Mark loved riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles, enjoyed fishing and deer hunting.
Survivors: brother, Dudley Carter and wife Andrea of Charlotte, sister, Angela Carter Neel of Lake Wylie, NC.
Visitation: 1:30 to 3 PM Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 at Richfield Baptist Church, Richfield, NC.
Funeral Service: 3:00 PM Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 at Richfield Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Brian Miller, pastor and Rev. McCray Holmes, pastor of Northdale Baptist Church, Charlotte.
Burial will follow at Gold Hill Cemetery.
Memorials: Hospice & Palliative Care, Charlotte Region.
