LOCUST - Zula Marie Lambert Eudy, 86 of 24869 Millingport Rd., Locust, passed away Sunday, Oct 24, 2010, at Britthaven of the Piedmont, Albemarle.
She was born Oct. 15, 1924, in Stanly County to the late Duke and Rosa Hatley Lambert.
She was also preceded in death by her husband James Paul Eudy in 1998; brothers, Berry Lambert, Jasper Lambert, Fred Lambert; sisters, Gatha Almond, Gertie Greene, Froza Tucker and Eunice Morgan.
She is survived by sons, Dexter James Eudy and wife, Deborah, of Locust, Ricky Paul Eudy and wife, Debra, of Locust; daughter, Paula Eudy Griffin and husband Jack of Locust; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at 4 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jerry Ingle and Rev. Eddie Barbee officiating. Burial will follow at Running Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will meet at the home of daughter, Paula Griffin, 24857 Millingport Rd., Locust, NC.
Memorials may be made to Ridgecrest VFD, and Providence Church of God Benevolence Ministry.
