Notes for Teresa Dawn “Terry” Cagle
Teresa Dawn “Terry” Crouse

Terry answered God's unexpected early call on April 21, 2016 and remains now with the Lord. She was born in Savannah, Georgia on July 21, 1951 to Grace and Bob Cagle. Due to her father's Air Force career she traveled extensively throughout the United States as a child, and spent three years of her youth in Bermuda. Her parents chose Boise as the family's ultimate destination. She attended Borah High School and entered Boise State University. There she met her soul mate, Steve, in 1969. It was love at first sight for them both and they were married in 1972.

Terry's college days were interrupted by a job transfer for her husband and a new life as a caring and loving mother soon began. Her proudest accomplishments were her children, followed by finishing her college degree, and becoming a successful business executive in the financial services industry.

After retirement she spent many days caring for her father and upon his death, her mother. The love of her life was Katie, her golden retriever. They were popcorn pals and best buddies. She enjoyed international travel and sailing the Caribbean. She felt inspiration from the European culture and freedom in sailing. She always felt drawn to the sea, and greatly enjoyed spending time on the Oregon Coast where she went for her soul to breathe. Terry was preceded in death by her father, Bob Cagle.

She is survived by her husband Steve; daughter Jennifer Rouse (Nathan); son Matthew (Natalie); and four grandsons: Eric, Noah, William and Samuel of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA; sister Cevillia Salisbury (Gary); mother Grace Cagle; and her beloved Katie Kate.

We don't know why you were called at this time, but feel some peace in knowing it was for a greater purpose. You will be missed. A celebration of life will follow at a future date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Valley Women's and Children Shelter, 869 W. Corporate Ln, Nampa Idaho.
