HERNDON, VIRGINIA - Wayne Robert Fuller, age 56, passed into the arms of the Lord, on Monday, October 3, 2016, after battling ALS for 11 years. He leaves behind his loving family, wife of 32 years Kimberley Fuller, and daughters Jessica Huether (Stephen) and Brittany Fuller.
He is survived by his mother, Frances Fuller; sisters Sheila Rust; Adelle Carter (Donnie); Donna Brunetti (Rick); Shirley Beale (Mike); 13 nieces and nephews and 14 grand nieces and nephews; pre-deceased by his father Robert Fuller.
Born in Portsmouth, March 25, 1960, Wayne graduated from Menchville High School, earned a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, a MS in Computer Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from George Mason University. With over 20 years' experience in telecommunications, Wayne retired as VP of Operations at Fluke Networks.
A dedicated, loving dad and family man, he cherished time with his family and enjoyed spending time in his yard and by the pool; and cheering for the Virginia Cavaliers, Redskins, and Nationals.
The Celebration of Life is Friday, October 14th, at 10 am at Floris United Methodist Church in Herndon, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the DC Walk to Defeat ALS Fuller Friends team.
