Dwight Lois Eudy, 59 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016, after a hard fought battle of cancer.
Mr. Eudy was born June 1, 1957 to the late Doris Swaringen. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Ada and Avery Jones; granddaughter, Adriene Melisa Brackins. Dwight was a devoted father and grandfather that was known as a man of humor. He was always quick witted and enjoyed entertaining others through his jokes. Dwight was a die hard Panthers fan that also enjoyed Nascar, rock music, and playing golf with his best buddies.
The funeral service will be on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 6:00 PM in the Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel.
Survivors include: his pride and joy, grandson, Cooper Brackins; granddaughters, Kayla Brown and Madison Rice; daughter, Holly Harwood Eudy and husband Jason Brackins; wife, Teresa Lambert Eudy; sisters, Debra Hilton and Darla Carriker; step-daughter, Tisha Brown and husband Billy; step-son, Mitchell Rice.
n lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Hartsell Funeral Home to assist with his funeral expenses.
