Herman Dois Lambert, 86, of Albemarle passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, N.C. A Funeral Service for Mr. Lambert will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Canton Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Mark Mabry. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8PM on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care.
Herman was born September 22, 1930 in Stanly County to the late Bertha Barbee Lambert and Walter Lambert. Mr. Lambert retired from Fruit of the Loom and loved playing guitar in many different country bands.
He is survived by his wife Betty Ruth Barbee Lambert; son Gary Dois Lambert (Debbie) of Albemarle; daughter Teresa Lambert Eudy of Albemarle; grandchildren: Elizabeth Lambert, David Lambert, Mitchell Rice, and Tisha Brown all of Albemarle; 13 great-grandchildren; nephew Raven Lambert; and many other nieces and nephews. Mr. Lambert was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis.
