Judith Alice Eagle

Judith Alice Eagle, 69, of Salisbury passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Genesis Healthcare of Salisbury. Judy was born in Salisbury on February 26, 1947 daughter of Doris Walser Bass of Salisbury and the late Junior Dwight "Jay" Bass.

Mrs. Eagle was educated at North Rowan High School and retired from the Spencer Food Lion Store. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rockwell. Judy was the ultimate caregiver. She spent her life caring for others, especially her three grandsons. She loved them and her family with all her heart.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Curtis Eagle.

Survivors include her son, Scott Eagle and wife Felicia of Salisbury; daughter, Pam Barber and husband John of Salisbury; grandchildren, Wesley Eagle of Brooklyn, NY, Corey Barber and wife Kirsten of Cary, and Chase Barber of Salisbury; brothers, Gary Bass and wife Pam of Mt. Ulla, Don Bass and wife Dawn of Mills River, David Bass and Steve Bass of Salisbury; sisters, Ann Bass Hall and husband Reggie of Salisbury, Bonnie Bass Mills and husband Ken of Asheville and Lisa Bass Farina of Concord.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:45 PM Saturday, April 16, 2016 in the Family Life Center at the First Baptist Church of Rockwell.

Service: Funeral Service will be at 3:00 PM Saturday at First Baptist Church of Rockwell conducted by Rev. Matthew Laughter, pastor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, Danvers, MA; or to First Baptist Church of Rockwell.
