Caroline Rebecca Norton, 53, of Albemarle, North Carolina died after an extended illness early Monday morning, December 4, 2017 at Hermitage Retirement Center in Rockingham, NC.
Mrs. Norton was born, Thursday, July 9, 1964 in Holyoke, Massachusetts to Reather C. and Phyllis E. (Marbry) Furr, Jr. of Albemarle, NC.
She leaves behind her husband, Phillip D. Norton of Laurel Hill, NC; her loving daughter, Brittany M. Norton also of Laurel Hill and fiance' Matthew S. Brady of Raeford, NC; her brother, Kelvin C. Furr of Whiteville; her sister, Cornetha E. (Kyle) Holcomb of Albemarle, NC.
She is preceded in death by her beloved sister, Susan M. Underwood who died September 22, 2007.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, December 7, 2017 with the family receiving guests from 1:00 to 1:45 pm at Porter United Methodist Church, 40031 Porter Road, Norwood, NC with Rev. Caitlin M. McAlhany officiating. Burial will follow in the Porter Community Cemetery in Norwood, NC.
Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Mrs. Norton to Porter United Methodist Church, 16357 Tyson Road Albemarle, NC.
Caroline will forever be missed by her loving and devoted family and many dear friends. May God grant her eternal rest.
