Graduated from East Rowan High School in 1972 and UNC-C in 1978. Mrs. Jones was a 3-4 grade school teacher at Morgan School for 14 years. A member of Grace Bible Church.

Burial will be in the Thyatira Presbyterian Church Cemetery at 5:00 PM Sunday, and the family will receive friends at the Church Parlor following the Graveside Service.
