Funeral is 4 p.m. Monday at Silver Springs Baptist Church. Visitation is 6 to 8 tonight at Hartsell Funeral Home.
Survivors are his wife, Wilma; son, Bernard Thompson; daughter, Mrs. Myra Lambert of Fort Bragg; mother, Mrs. Lessie Thompson; sisters, Mrs. Edna Lowder of Norwood, Miss Carolyn Thompson.
