Bonnie Sue Ketchie
Bonnie Sue Ketchie, 63, of Rockwell, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
She was born September 4, 1959, in Rowan County, to Edna Owens and the late Lester Drye. Bonnie was a graduate of East Rowan High School and was employed as a CNA for Atrium Health NorthEast in Cabarrus County. She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church in Gold Hill.
In addition to her father, Bonnie was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Butler.
In addition to her mother, Bonnie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ronald Ketchie; daughter, Kelly Hoppenraft and husband Mike; son, Wes Ketchie and wife Brittany; grandchildren, Austin, Mattison, and Ethan; and sister, Barbara Jean Green.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Friday, January 27, 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm at Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery.
A graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm in the cemetery with the Rev. Charles Curtis officiating.
Memorials may be made to: Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary, 220 Grace Church Road, Salisbury, NC.
