Mary Frances Roseman Ketchie

Mary Frances Roseman Ketchie, 89, of Salisbury, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at the Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks in Salisbury, NC. 

She was born June 9, 1929 in Cabarrus County, NC to the late Stewart and Geneva Crowell Roseman. Mary Frances was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, a member of the Hazel Trexler and Unity Sunday School Classes, the Challenger WELCA group, and a member of the choir. 

She attended Granite Quarry High School, she worked in the cafeteria at Morgan Elementary School for many years, and worked as a Nursing Assistant at the Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks for 18 years. 

Mary Frances loved traveling with her sisters, she enjoyed riding her golf cart, and spending time with her family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, Mary Frances was preceded in death by her husband, William Wesley Ketchie, whom she married on June 10, 1947, and who passed away on May 7, 2000. 

Mary Frances is survived by her sons, Rev. William S. Ketchie and wife Kathy of Salisbury, Larry Ketchie and wife Barbara of Gold Hill, Bobby Ketchie and wife Jancy of Gold Hill, and Ronald Ketchie and wife Bonnie of Rockwell; sisters, Betty Sue Bonsignor and husband John of Myrtle Beach, SC, Annie Marie Hodge of Roxboro, Louise Ketner of Salisbury, Jean Deal and husband Jimmie of Salisbury, and Patsy Everhart of Salisbury; granddaughters, Patricia Efaw, Christine Lampkin and husband Tom, Kelly Hoppenrath and husband Mike, and Kadie Julian and husband Baker; grandsons, Bradley Ketchie, Bill Ketchie and wife Rebecca, Wesley Ketchie and wife Brittany, Travis Ketchie; and 10 great grandchildren. 

The family will greet friends and relatives on Thursday, August 2, 2018, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Family Life Center, Salisbury, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, August 2, 2018, in the St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Salisbury, NC, with Rev. Gary S Coble officiating.

Burial will follow in the St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Mary Frances may be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Building Improvement Fund.
