Trudy Iddings Wilde

Mrs. Trudy Frances Iddings Wilde, 67, passed away July 29 at CMC/NorthEast in Concord.

Mrs Wilde was Born September 13, 1947 in Rowan County, the daughter of the late Martin Frederick Iddings and the late Esther Viola Morgan Iddings. Educated in the Rowan County schools, she was a 1965 graduate of North Rowan High School and attended the Louise Harkey School of Nursing at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital in Concord.

Mrs Wilde was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Salisbury Ward where she played the piano. She was a merchandiser for Rack Room Shoes for a number of years. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her cats.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilde was preceded in death by brothers; Kenneth Iddings and Jerry Iddings.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years Howard O. Wilde of the home who she married on July 1, 1967. Son; Kenneth Wilde and wife Mardella of Salisbury. Daughter; Katie Wilde Redmon and husband David of China Grove. Four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday August 3, at 11:30am at the Powles Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Brother Jay Coalson.

Visitation: Monday, August 3rd, from 10:30 am until 11:30 am at Powles Funeral Home prior to the service.

Inurnment will follow on Monday, August 3rd, at 1:00pm at the Salisbury National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.
