Janice Parrott Ellegood
Mrs. Janice Parrott Ellegood, age 86 a resident of the Lowes community, passed away at 3:40 A.M. Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the Morningside assisted Living Facility in Mayfield. She was a lifelong resident of the Folsomdale and Lowes communities. She was of the Baptist Faith and retired owner of Jan’s Beauty Shop in Folsomdale for 50 years.
She is survived by one daughter: Marla Lee, Paducah, two sons: Steve (Melinda) Parrott, Mayfield, Kent (Carolyn) Parrott, Folsomdale. Seven Grandchildren, Thirteen Great Grandchildren and Four great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Lester and Gertrude Adams Henson, First husband: Cloyid Lee Parrott and second husband: Jimmy Ellegood. One brother: Billie Henson and two sisters: Imogene Hargrove and Gloria Ann Henson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with Rev. Paul Wilkerson and Greg Wilkerson officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-7 P.M. Thursday at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
