Rayvon Leroy Morton
Rayvon Leroy Morton, 80, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at Atrium Health Stanly in Albemarle.
Mr. Morton was born June 30, 1938 to the late Herman Morton and Margie Pickler Morton. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lettie Marie Webb and Lena Mae Lowder.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Sunday, January 27, 2019 Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019, at 2:00 pm located at Poplin Grove Baptist Church, 220 Poplin Grove Church Rd. Albemarle, officiated by Pastor Richard Carlisle. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors.
Survivors include: wife, Marlene Morton of Albemarle; son, Calvin (Teresa) Morton of Fountain Inn, SC; daughter, Angela (Charity) Morton of Concord; sister, Daisy Turner of Salisbury; three grandchildren, Josie and Deena Morton and Patrick Vickers; and one grand-dog Garnet.
Memorials may be made to Poplin Grove Baptist Church.
