Debra “Debbie” Allen
Debra Lithamae Whitley Allen, 60 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center - Main in Charlotte.
Debbie was born February 13, 1955 in Stanly County to the late Nathanial Bradford Whitley and Doris Pauline Little Whitley of Red Cross.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, February 12, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The graveside service, officiated by Rev. Dwight Mabry, will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Smith's Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Highway 138 in Oakboro. At other times, the family will be gathering at the home.
In addition to her mother, Doris Little Whitley, she is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Robert Dale Allen of the home; son, Chad Allen of Harrisburg; brother, Ronnie Whitley and wife Jane; sisters, Aloma Whitley and Janet Whitley; seven nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Friends of Stanly County Animal Rescue.
