GOLD HILL - Archie "Harold" Cline, 72, of Gold Hill, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, at the Brian Center Health & Rehab of Salisbury.
Mr. Cline was born Oct. 17, 1935, in Cabarrus County, the son of the late Archie Jacob Cline and Evelena Christy Cline. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, member of the St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Gold Hill and had worked for Fiber Industries and also NC Finishing Company where he retired from as a Supervisor.
Mr. Cline was a former Baseball Coach for a number of years and started the Pee Wee League in Rockwell.
In addition to his parents Mr. Cline is preceded in death by daughter, Julie Troublefield.
Survivors include son, Jeffrey Cline of Mooresville; brother, Mike Cline of Gold Hill; sisters, Linda Riley of Gold Hill, Billie McCallister of Mt. Pleasant, and Peggy Greene of Fla.; two grandsons and 2 granddaughters.
Service: Per Mr. Cline's wishes there will be a Private Memorial Service.
Memorials: The family request no flowers.
