Sandy Greer Eudy

Sandy Greer Eudy, age 63 of Albemarle, NC passed away August 29, 2017 at her home.  Her service will be Friday, September 1, 2017 at 4:00 PM at the Faith Free Will Baptist Church in New London, NC with the Rev. Cecil Tucker and Rev. Wayne Eudy officiating.  Burial will follow at the Faith Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM .

Mrs. Eudy was born December 2, 1953 in Stanly County, NC to Mary Smith Pierce of Albemarle, NC and the late Neil Preston Greer and was a graduate of Albemarle High School.  She was a retired cafeteria manager at East Albemarle Elementary School and formerly of Badin Elementary School.  She was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church where she was Sunday School Teacher.  She was an outstanding mother and grandmother and a very devoted wife. She was a great giver of herself to everyone who needed her.

Mrs Eudy was married to the late James “J.D” Eudy who preceded her in death November 29, 2015.  Also preceded her in death was two brothers, Preston and Danny Greer. In addition to her mother,  survivors include, one son; Rev. Wayne D. Eudy and wife Sally of Albemarle, NC, one daughter; Misty Meggs and husband Tommy of Norwood, NC and grandson, Cooper Eudy of Albemarle, NC.
