John H. Hearne
John was veteran of WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Mabel Virginia Morton Hearne; his sons, Michael (Beth), and Joe (Linda) Hearne; daughter, Patricia Powel (Peter); 2 granddaughters, and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Martha Sue; his parents & 5 siblings.
He married Ginny, when he was 20 and she was 16. After his retirement from the USAF, he received a AA degree from ARC and his BA in Social Welfare from CSU, Sacramento. He worked as a teacher's assistant in special education until retiring in 1986. He was a 40-year member of the United Methodist Church of Rancho Cordova, CA., and had a deep relationship with God.
Celebration of his life: UMC of Rancho Cordova, Apr 13, 2012, 6:00 p.m.
Interment: Field of Honor at Camellia Memorial Lawn, Sacramento, CA.
