“Frankie” Harrison

CONCORD - Mrs. Mary Frances "Frankie" Isenhour Harrison, of Propston Street, went to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven on Sunday, April 29, 2012, at NorthEast Medical Center.

Frankie was born Dec. 25, 1943, at the former Cabarrus Memorial Hospital in Concord to the late James L. Isenhour and Laura Frances Kirk Isenhour. She was Head Cheerleader at 71st High School in Fayetteville. A graduate of Wingate University, Frankie worked as Dean Smith's secretary at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

She owned the Gold Miner's Daughter, a floral and gift shop, working as a wedding coordinator and floral arranger. Frankie also was a professional skin care consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics.

She and her husband were charter members of Trinity Baptist Church in Concord. Frankie loved to shag to beach music, especially at Kure Beach and Ocean Drive. She loved to sing karaoke at The Restaurant in Gold Hill. Frankie was a show-stopper.

Frankie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Donald L. "Don" Harrison; her daughter, Summer H. Floyd of Gold Hill; sister Ann I. Herring and husband Bobby of Fayetteville; niece Beth Gill of Raleigh; three uncles; two aunts; and cousins.

Service and Visitation: A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Ken Staley. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Gold Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Gold Hill.

Memorials: May be made to Trinity Baptist Church, Concord, NC.

Wilkinson Funeral Home is handling arrangements for the Harrison family.
