CHINA GROVE -- Lillie Lambert Hartsoe, 82, Britemoore Nursing Center, died Thursday ( Dec. 26, 2002) at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
Born June 17, 1920 in Stanly County, she was a daughter of the late Emma Honeycutt Lambert and Eli Lambert.
She was educated in the Stanly County School and worked at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital as a nursing assistant and in home care.
Mrs. Hartsoe was of the Baptist faith.
Her first husband, Bratton Howard Burleson died in 1963. Her second husband, Guy Hartsoe, died in 1997. A daughter, Phyliss Dianne Burleson, died in 1945 and another daughter, Jeanette Shepherd, died in 1990.
Survivors include a son, Howard Burleson, Ambrose, Ga.; a daughter, Sylvia B.Prater, Salisbury; a sister, Zora Allmon, of Albemarle; 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Sunday, graveside at Willow Valley Cemetery in Mooresville with the Rev. Richard Pethel.
Visitation: 4-6 this afternoon at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home-China Grove.
