Ada Marie (Lee) Rinehart
Ada Marie (Lee) Rinehart, 91, of Huntersville went to be with her Savior and Lord surrounded by Family on March 19, 2023.
Born in Rock Hill, SC on September 15, 1931, Ada was the second of six children born to Ada Gobble Lee and Arthur Harris Lee, Sr.
Ada attended East Spencer High School and had a long career in accounting at the City of Salisbury and Hager & Associates of Huntersville. She was a member of First Baptist Church-Huntersville where she was active in all phases of Church, including World Hunger and Lydia’s Loft and volunteered at the Huntersville Soup Kitchen.
Prior to coming to Huntersville, Ada was a Past Worthy Matron of the Salisbury Chapter Order of Eastern Star #117, Board Member of the Salisbury Credit Women and active Member of Haven Lutheran Church. Ada was known for her coconut pies, which she made often to take to church and family events.
In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by her sisters, Louise Artz and Betty Coffey; brother, Toby Lee; daughter-in-law Linda Rinehart.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ronnie Rinehart of Salisbury, and Terry Rinehart (Judy) of Pawleys Island, and her daughter, Teresa Julian (Ron) of Huntersville; sisters, Peggy Holshouser of Boone, Barbara Ann Young of New Bern, NC; sister-in-law, Janet Lee of Salisbury; grandchildren, Shane Julian (Ashleigh), Melissa Hodapp (Sam); great-grandsons, Harrison Julian, Everette Julian, Graham Julian, Liam Hodapp, and Henry Hodapp.
A service to Celebrate the life of Ada Rinehart will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 2:00 at First Baptist Church-Huntersville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Baptist Church-Huntersville (building fund) at 14813 N Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC.
Carolina Cremation is assisting the Rinehart family.
