Helen Plowman Loflin
ROCKWELL - Helen Plowman Loflin, of 712 W. Main St., died Monday, July 30, 2007, at her home.
Born Nov. 11, 1929, in Stanly County, Mrs. Loflin was a daughter of the late Kemp Lee Plowman and Martha Catherine (Furr) Plowman.
Self-employed, she was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in New London.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Loflin was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Plowman, and a son, Stephen David Loflin.
Surviving are her husband, George David Loflin of the home; son George Michael Loflin of Rockwell; daughter Pamela Faye (Loflin) Austin of Rockwell; sister Emma Jewel Clark of Albemarle; brothers James Plowman of Albemarle, Ray Plowman of Finger and Carl Lee Plowman of Pensacola, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 6-8 tonight at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. At other times , the family will be at the home at 712 W. Main St., Rockwell.
Service: 2 p m Wednesday at First Baptist Church, New London with the Rev. Otis Goins officiating. Burial will be at New London Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle.
