Martha Lucille Moyle Lowder
Martha Lucille Moyle Lowder, 82, of 634 Bethany Road, Albemarle, died at 3:25 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2007, in Stanly Regional Medical Center.
Her funeral will at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Stanly Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Stoney Benfield will officiate and burial will be in Stanly Gardens of Memory.
Born June 29, 1924, in Stanly County, she was a daughter of the late James and Beulah Hatley Moyle and was educated at Albemarle High School. She was a retired employee of Wiscassett Mills Company with 46 years of service and was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.
Four brothers, Grady Moyle, Lee Moyle, Max Moyle and Coolidge Moyle, and a sister, Betty Barbee, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Lowder of the home; a son, Reggie Lowder and wife, Judy, of New London; a sister, Mildred West of Albemarle; two grandchildren, Brett Lowder and wife, Holli, and Heather Lowder; and three great-grandchildren, Brody, Taegan and Kinsley.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Stanly Funeral Home. At other hours they will be at the home of her son, Reggie Lowder, 44924 Gold Branch Road, New London.
