Ginger Kennedy
Ginger Darnelle A. Kennedy, 60, of Salisbury, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at CMC-Northeast.
She was born Oct. 11, 1954, in Rowan County, a daughter of the late Cecil Allman and Phyllis Crowell Allman. She was a graduate of South Rowan High School.
She was a clerical worker before becoming disabled. Ginger was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Dean Kennedy, on June 1, 2003; mother-in-law and father-in-law Mary and Claude Gaines; sister Wanda Allman; and brother Alton Allman.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Josh M. Kennedy and wife Alisha of Landis, Courtney M. Kennedy and grandson Blake M. Barrett of the home; brother Randy Allman; and sister Gail Carter, both of Granite Quarry.
Ginger loved her family and the Lord. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2 at City Memorial Cemetery in Salisbury with the Rev. Wayne Miller officiating.
