G. Wesley Brady, 45, of 3050 Windchase Ct. in High Point died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 1995, at High Point Regional Hospital. He had been in declining health since April.
Mr. Brady was born March 30, 1950 in Guilford County, a son of Grayson and Hilda Jackson Brady. He had been a resident of High Point all his life and was employed by Ruan Transportation Company. He was a 1968 graduate of Ragsdale High School and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of First Wesleyan Church and a member of the Teamsters Union Local 391. On May 23, 1992, he was married to the former Kathy Bridgeman who survives of the home.
Also surviving are one son, Chris Brady of Greensboro; daughter, Mrs. Scott (Mary) Sexton of Greensboro; one step-son, Shane Taylor of High Point; one step-daughter, Mrs. Shannon Bolick of Hudson; mother, Mrs. Hilda J. Brady of 702 O'Neil St.; brother, Jim Brady of Honolulu, Hawaii; sister, Mrs. Becky Lovette of 3300 Quail Run Dr. in High Point; grandsons, Christopher Bolick and Jonathan Brady.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at the First Wesleyan Church with Dr. Aron P. Willis, the Rev. Carroll M. Upton and the Rev. Scott O. Weldon officiating. Interment will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. tonight at Cumby Mortuary on Eastchester Dr.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Noble, Joel Noble, Randy Stroud, Steve Stroud, Mike Stroud and Tim Applegate.
Memorials may be directed to The Caring House, Durham, NC; or Hospice of the Piedmont, High Point, NC.
