Hilda Jackson Brady
Mrs. Hilda Jackson Brady, 84, of High Point, died Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Piedmont Christian Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Cumby Family Funeral Chapel in High Point by Rev. Billy Young and Rev. Larry Frye. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Brady was born April 15, 1924, in Guilford County a daughter of the late Jim Jackson and the late Beulah Conklin Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband Grayson Brady in 1990 and a son G. Wesley Brady in 1995.
She was very active in her church including singing in the choir, worked in the nursery, taught Sunday school, supported all youth activities. She taught at Trinity High School for 30 years, loved young people, and enjoyed seeing them succeed in school. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Surviving are one son James Brady and wife Rose Marie of Honolulu, Hawaii and one daughter Rebecca Lovette and husband W.D. of High Point; five grandchildren Chris Brady and wife Nicolette, Mary Sexton and husband Scott, Erin Martin, Tammy Marbert and husband Mitch, Darren Lovette and wife Korie; and nine great-grandchildren.
