Opal Rubenia Lipe
Mrs. Opal Rubenia Harrington Lipe, 95, of Burlington, passed away on Tuesday Sept. 13, 2016, at Ashton Place Health and Rehab in McLeansville. Born in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Mary Efird Harrington. A graduate of Landis High School, she was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herman Lipe in 2004.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Priscilla Lipe of Burlington and Doyle Lipe (Janice) of Landis. In addition she was survived by her grandchildren, Cheryl Haworth Wyrick (David) and Carlisle Haworth (Judy Lee); and great-grandchildren, Katherine, Caroline and Elizabeth Wyrick and Murray Cline Haworth.
Visitation and Service: Visitation will be on Friday from 10 til 10:45 a.m., at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in Landis with graveside service at 11 a.m., at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
